Marine Roll Shields
Marine Roll Shields are cut-to-length fire-resistant protective barriers made from multiple layers of aluminized and coated fiberglass fabrics, supplied in 30-foot rolls with widths from 2″ to 12″. Used extensively by military vessels worldwide, they’re quickly installed with stainless steel wire to temporarily contain and deflect pressurized fluid leaks and sprays, operating at temperatures up to 500°F and available in both military specification ASTM F1138 and commercial grades.
SOLAS Spray Tape
SOLAS Spray Tape is an aluminized fiberglass cloth tape with special adhesives designed to wrap around marine and offshore piping systems, acting as a fire prevention spray shield by containing leaks of flammable and hot fluids. Available in widths from 35mm to 1000mm on 10-meter rolls, it’s certified by major classification societies (ABS, DNV, Bureau Veritas) and meets SOLAS/IMO regulations with operating temperatures up to 365°F and pressures up to 218 psi.
